    As ever, Rick Ludovico and the Serramonte VW team provided fast, extremely courteous and fine service. It is why I choose to always use the dealership as opposed to outside vendors which might be cheaper but lack the attention to detail and depth of knowledge you have.

    Initially I contacted VW to get my car looked at, never got a response. I later scheduled a service, and the problem they identified needed a repair. That repair was then just outside the warranty window, and was not honored. Unfortunately it’s too costly for me to fix. I’m disappointed that this happened.

    The Service Advisor mentioned to me that the service should be done in 2/3 hours. However, it wasn't completed until about 6 hours later. There was no call from him for an update nor a text regarding an update. I had to call back and the service people about it. This is very very poor service. A simple call or text to update would have made a difference. There was NO apology from the service advisor about the delay. Two Stars because it was easy to schedule, service advisor was friendly, and receptionists were very courteous and friendly to me.
